Community Gathering
The Community Gathering brought together entrepreneurs, government, and ecosystem builders within the Digital and Green sector to discuss pressing sustainability challenges and introduced the Digital Green Innovation program. Supported by Hi Incubator, the event opened with remarks from Daniel Schröder, Digital Green Innovation Lead at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, reflecting on the community’s journey since 2022.
This event attended by 41 offline participants, inviting them to join the DGI challenges. A discussion followed, highlighting Indonesia’s key issues in 4 sectors: agriculture innovation ecosystem, circular economy and product lifecycle, smart mobility & logistics, blue economy & biodiversity
The event concluded with an unmoderated networking session over dinner among the participants.
Community Gathering
The event opened with a warm welcome from Daniel Schröder, Digital Green Innovation Lead at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. He reflected on the journey of building green tech ecosystem in Indonesia that began with the first event in 2022, highlighting key milestones and shared successes along the way.
Following his remarks, he introduced the new initiative: Digital Green Innovation, explaining its mission to integrate innovative digital solutions into sustainable practices. The program aims to drive Indonesia’s transition towards a sustainable, climate-resilient future by leveraging the power of digital innovation.
